CREATE Health, inaugurated in 2006 with a focus on precision medicine, is a strategic centre for translational research focusing on the early diagnosis and prognosis of cancer, as well as the development of novel treatment strategies.

CREATE Health, inaugurated in 2006 with a focus on precision medicine, is a strategic centre for translational research focusing on the early diagnosis and prognosis of cancer, as well as the development of novel treatment strategies.

Today CREATE Health Translational Cancer Center, hosted by LTH, consists of scientists from the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering and is located at Medicon Village in Lund. CREATE Health unites, both physically and logistically, researchers from such diverse fields as bioinformatics, proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics, cancer genetics and tumor cell biology with clinical oncologists for the nearby Lund University Hospital, thereby creating a unique highly integrative environment qualified for solving complex clinical challenges.
